The Hi-innovator initiative is supporting small and growing businesses by extending catalytic seed funding, building the capacity of entrepreneurship support organizations to provide quality technical assistance, and working with financing institutions to unlock affordable patient capital so that they can become more competitive.

In the third year of operation, this is a great Lift for the business to be able to transform the community of artisans. Currently, Trillion looks store has a membership of 67 members. 45 artisans with 22 young people who offer support as product models, creative designers, and photographers.

Trillion looks store has built an e-commerce platform on which buyers from all over the world can buy authentic Ugandan Crafts and have them delivered to their doorstep.  The platform allows four payment gateways MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and mobile money.

Alongside this, Trillion looks store accepts payment through flexipay for buyers who buy from the physical shop.

With this seed funding, the business hopes to grow its market influence both locally and internationally, support artisans to produce more standardized and quality products to compete globally, and also hire more technical staff to support the work further.

Artisans contribute to economies by increasing local incomes, preserving ancient cultures, and providing employment. This support from Master card and NSSf is a blessing to entire Uganda at large.

Beyond their practical use, they hold cultural significance, gracing events such as traditional weddings where they cradle gifts meant for the brides. Furthermore, these Tabaga pieces find purpose in adornment or as charming placements upon tables.
